Alma Barn

Alma Barn is a beautifully restored former cart and animal barn, situated in the picturesque downland village of Aldbourne in Wiltshire. The barn dates back to 1663 and has been carefully converted to sleep four in comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation, available for flexible booking.

A blend of restored original features, a carefully designed interior and some of the latest technology help make this a special place to stay. With views on to the fields and downs beyond, yet within a few minutes’ walk into the centre of a charming and lively village, Alma Barn is a wonderful country bolt hole.

The holiday accommodation is well situated for visiting many places of interest. Within half an hour you can reach Marlborough, Avebury, Hungerford, Newbury and Swindon and within an hour Stonehenge, Salisbury, The Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol and Oxford.

"We loved our 2 nights in Aldbourne. Just as advertised - lovely converted barn with all the modern conveniences, very comfortable beds with nice bedding in the lofts, great kitchen amenities, and sheep outside the door! Very private, can walk to small market and the town. If you want the country experience off the beaten path and the feeling that you live there rather than visit, I highly recommend this property"
